As a veteran’s wife and mother of four, she finds her greatest purpose in the daily rhythms of family life, having transitioned from a career as a special education teacher to the rewarding challenge of homeschooling her own children.

Though she now calls the warmth of South Carolina home, a piece of her heart will always remain in the historic, misty landscapes of Steilacoom, Washington.
